Spring Theatre Arts Workshops

Join us as we offer our second Workshop Series! We are delighted to offer three different workshops encompassing a variety of theatre concentrations! Each workshop is offered twice. These workshops are perfect to introduce new students to the theatre arts as returning students. These workshops also cover our prerequisite requirement for our 2 week summer camp programming. Register today for a fun filled theatrical experience!
Workshops available include:
Theatre Games
Saturdays March 20th and May 1st 10am – 12noon
Ages 7-14
Students will explore acting and group collaboration thru this class of theatre games. They will be able to go crazy and let it all hang loose in this introductory class perfect for 1st time students.
Audition Workshop
Saturdays March 27th and May 22nd 10am -12noon
Ages 9-14
$50
Students will be given insight into how to audition, including simple etiquette, how to find auditions, how to create a resume and will work on monologues appropriate for auditioning. Students recommended to have monologue for class. Perfect for actors ready to take that next step into the professional world.
Improv Theatre
Saturdays April 24th and May 29th 10am -12noon
Ages 7-14
$50
Students will be introduced to the art of improvisation and sketch comedy and thru games and activities will create a short small group sketch piece. Perfect class for first time improvisers and experienced students too.

Additional Theatrical Programming
perfect for schools and communtiy groups
Creative Dramatics - ages 3-6yrs
A basic introduction to the dramatic arts, concentrating on imagination and collaborative work. We will be using children's literature as a basis for dramatic creations.
Basic Acting - ages 7 - 9
Through acting games and exercises, students will hone basic acting and theatre skills such as vocal production and character creation, and will master the art of creative collaboration.
Advanced Acting and Sketch Comedy Group - ages 9-12 and teens 13-18
This is a two part class. Part one is the acting class, which provides more intensive theatrical training, using original and standard scripts for scene study work and monologue training. Students hone their performance abilities and learn to create original characters. The second part is The Sketch Comedy Group, which is an all children improvisation group. Students will create original sketch comedy pieces using the art of improvisation. They will master group collaboration and learn the facets of playwriting, and have performance opportunities to showcase their work.
We also offer one day workshops throughout the year!
